NIE First Grade College is one of the premier educational institutions in Mysore,managed by NIE Society, affiliated to University of Mysore, offering undergraduate in basic Science, Computer Application & Commerce disciplines. The college was established in the year 1994 with a view to provide educational opportunities to the students who want to make their career in the field of Science and Commerce. The college aims at creating awareness among the students about scientific temperament and expressions over the years and through practical assignments, offers them an opportunity to realize their own potentials. College is known for its academic excellence. NIE First Grade College is catering to the needs of the students since 27 years. The sprawling campus has good number of classrooms, digital classrooms, good labs, library and an auditorium. Our teaching faculty includes highly qualified, experienced, dedicated and students-caring teachers. Guest lecturers from NIE Engineering College are invited to give demonstrations and guide the students periodically to enrich the students with their knowledge and experience. Students are encouraged at all levels, to take part in various state and national competitions, exhibitions, sports and other extra-curricular activities. Today this institute is a fully fledged Science & Commerce Institute with 1106 students pursuing. The college has produced excellent results every year.
