The department of computer science was set up in 1994 with three years Bachelors Degree in Science(B.Sc) with one of the options PMCs and EMCs and intake of 120 students.
  BCA program was introduced in the year 2009. It has an intake of 120 students.
  To cater to the needs of the students, the computer science department has one hardware lab and Four Computer Labs. There are around 90 computers equipped with the latest software and hardware peripherals. The department boasts dedicated faculty in imparting quality education for the betterment of the students. Faculty are BOS and BOE members which help them in guiding the students academically. Soft Skill, personality development program and mock interviews are conducted to enhance an individual’s interaction with others, prospects.
  In today’s world of global communication and rapid transformation computer science plays a very important role in the intersection between society and technology. To keep the students updated with the recent trends in computer science Workshops/Seminars are organized which are delivered by the eminent personalities from academics.
  The objective of imparting quality education in the field of computer science to the aspiring students is to become leaders in the development and application of computer science technology.
   The department mission is to advance, evolve and enhance computer science fundamentals to build the intellectual capital of the society.
